Green Trails Phase II is hosting a FREE Juniors Tennis Clinic on June 17th from 10am to 12pm for students in 1st through 8th grade! There will be lessons, games, drinks, goodie bags and MORE! Complimentary snow cones from Kona Ice provided for participants.

To reserve one of our tennis courts, Green Trails 2 residents will need to access the “Reserve My Court” system. They also have an app for mobile applications. You need to register to use the system. Go to login.ReserveMyCourt.com and follow the prompts to use the system. Court reservations may be made 48 hours in advance.
Working to convert the analog gate system to a fiber optic system. Once that is done, the gating systems should be operational. Stay tuned for info on the timing of the security gate at Park Cypress becoming operational again.

January meeting notes: The committee lead reported on the installation of new card reader equipment. He also mentioned the repairs done to the nets and a better exit button guard. On Dec 20th, the women’s tennis group provided charity to the Ballard House.
February meeting notes: Annual meeting held. No monthly report.
March meeting notes: The timer on the Park Cypress court was replaced. New card readers will be installed which will provide each property with one free card. Residents can buy a fob for $15.
April meeting notes: The tennis social had a good turnout of 16-20 people. Future activities: Jr. High Clinic and Elementary Clinics are planned for May. Resurfacing of 3 courts will begin June 10. The resurfacing process should take approximately 8 days. Contractors recommend digging gutters to help slope the water away. The new Access card readers are installed and working! There is still an issue at Gerri Ayers with the card readers shorting out when it rains. DSC will provide a quote to move the electrical line. The suggestion was made to show lifeguards how to replace the fuse.
May meeting notes: Clinic for middle school is this Saturday, May 18 at Gerri Ayers. 15 kids signed up. Beginner clinic is scheduled June 1 at Gerri Ayers. Resurfacing Gerri Ayers begins June 10. A guard was installed at Park Cypress tennis court to protect the new card reader. A chain link fence will be installed over the gate entrance to prevent people from climbing over.
June meeting notes: Tennis held beginner and Jr High clinics, both were successful and well attended. Young beginners clinic was led by Introductory Tennis Instructors who were geared to this age group and did a great job working with the younger children.. The court resurfacing at GA began today. Additional work needed to correct ongoing issues with blown fuse following rain, this replacement of the current line with the new electrical line is estimated at $1700 and falls within the existing budget. It was recommended the pouring of seals in conduit ends to help reduce likelihood of future water issues for this line.
July meeting notes: There was minimal damage from Hurricane Beryl; repairs have already been made. windscreens re-tied, pickleball nets blown around and missing net strap on tennis net. Kudos to the landscape crew for blowing off courts. Resurfacing is completed at Gerri Ayers Courts..New trenches were added along Gerri Ayers around outside of the fence to help prevent seepage. Upcoming: the data line will be replaced at GA pool gate on July 17. In the near future, access gates at Park Cypress and Gerri Ayers courts will be painted.

The Gerri Ayers pool will be open on Friday, July 12 and the Park Cypress pool is having its chemicals checked and will be opened as soon as it is deemed to be safe.
