The resurfacing process should take approximately 8 days. Contractors recommend digging gutters to help slope the water away. The new Access card readers are installed and working! June meeting notes: Tennis held beginner and Jr High clinics, both were successful and well attended. Young beginners clinic was led by Introductory Tennis Instructors who were geared to this age group and did a great job working with the younger children.. The court resurfacing at GA began today. Additional work needed to correct ongoing issues with blown fuse following rain, this replacement of the current line with the new electrical line is estimated at $1700 and falls within the existing budget. It was recommended the pouring of seals in conduit ends to help reduce likelihood of future water issues for this line.
July meeting notes: There was minimal damage from Hurricane Beryl; repairs have already been made. windscreens re-tied, pickleball nets blown around and missing net strap on tennis net. Kudos to the landscape crew for blowing off courts. Resurfacing is completed at Gerri Ayers Courts..New trenches were added along Gerri Ayers around outside of the fence to help prevent seepage. Upcoming: the data line will be replaced at GA pool gate on July 17. In the near future, access gates at Park Cypress and Gerri Ayers courts will be painted.
August meeting notes: The electric contractor at Gerri Ayers tennis courts has been replaced. No issues with new data line post-hurricane Beryl and one week of rain so this fix is considered a success to the previous fuse-blowing issue.
